Advent Celebration, Dec. 12th from 4-6pm
Please join us on December 12th from 4-6pm for a School Advent Celebration. We will meet outside (location to be determined) for a festive German Holiday Program, celebrate our school community and enjoy some Gemütlichkeit.
Please purchase a ticket for every attending family member.
Our teachers and staff are finalizing the details of the program:
Sing-along traditional German Holiday Songs for all Ages.
Performances of our enrolled students in the Children and Teen Program
Do you play an instrument? Does your child play an instrument? Would you like to share a Holiday song with us? Please let us know, we would love to include your ideas in the program.
Since we are still dealing with a pandemic we are asking you to bring in:
Please wear a mask
Cookies to share
Bring your own hot cider or chocolate.
Headlamp for when it gets dark
Please remember:
Parents of our younger students are responsible to supervise their children (especially around the playground equipment).
Watch the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Colorado December weather often catches us by surprise.
Due to the current COVID restrictions we need to limit the number of attendees. Registration will open up to current enrolled school members first. Hopefully by 2022, we will be able to host larger events with less restrictions again.
We reserve the right to cancel the Advent Celebration in case of inclement weather or additional COVID restrictions
This is a free event, but during the checkout process it’ll ask for your address.
If you sign up and cannot make it, please let us know. That way, we can ask other school members to join.
If you are unable to attend this Holiday event the German Culture Society of Colorado is hosting a Christmas Church Service:
German Christmas Service hosted by German Culture Society of Colorado
The German Culture Society of Colorado will host a German Christmas Service (Weihnachtsgottesdienst) on December 19th @ 2:30pm at Atonement Lutheran Church. Please sign up for the event by emailing Marion and Frank Conrad.
