Thank you!
I took classes for a couple of years and now I’m living in a German-speaking country (as of fall), it was really great to start with such a strong language base on arrival. For me, it was really important that the classes were fun, to maintain my motivation to keep coming despite having other competing priorities besides learning German. Now I’m really glad I kept coming.

Our mission

We foster the German language, as well as German music, theater, literature and art, heritage and traditions in the Boulder area.
We offer classes for adults, teenagers and children. Various cultural and social events will encourage relations between German speaking areas and the United States.

All our classes and activities are open to the public. The Boulder School for German Language and Culture provides support regardless of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin for the establishment of educational centers that are open to the general public.

Our school follows BVSD (Boulder Valley School District) for all weather-related closures.

“Styx” depicts the transformation of a strong woman torn from her contented world during a sailing trip. When she becomes the only person to come to the aid of a group of refugees shipwrecked on the high seas, she is shown the limits of her importance and of the empathy of her cultural milieu. She is left slipping impotently from one nightmare to the next, and by the end she is forced to recognize that there is no way to counter the cruelties of real life. Only chance can save her.
