What Our Students Are Saying

We are gradually settling in here in Schweinfurt, and our daughter is going to school today for her second week (we had completely overlooked the Bavarian Pfingst holidays in the last two weeks in our planning...). Our daughter gets a lot of compliments for her knowledge of German, which also allows her to get along well at school and to keep up - thank you very much for the great basis with you at the Boulder German School!
— Parent of a former student

Thank you!
I took classes for a couple of years and now I’m living in a German-speaking country (as of fall), it was really great to start with such a strong language base on arrival. For me, it was really important that the classes were fun, to maintain my motivation to keep coming despite having other competing priorities besides learning German. Now I’m really glad I kept coming.”
— One of our Adult Students

“My experience with virtual classes have been wonderful.

The lesson my son was taking is only 30 Minutes long which is perfect for his attention span after school, but enough to expose him to somebody else who speaks German with him. The lesson was built around a story and the teacher does a wonderful job engaging him. The level was perfect! I can’t say enough positive things.

We’re very lucky to have this German school in Boulder!”
— Parent of a Child Student

“I love the flexibility and risk mitigation that online classes afford. The teachers are creative and engaging. I highly recommend it!”
— Adult Student

What our Teachers have to say:

I worked at the German School from Summer 2021 until today, so about one year. I taught Summer Camps for children, music classes and discussion groups for adults, and music classes for children.

My colleagues are very nice and always ready to help. They are very experienced and they were always there to support me and listen to my ideas. This created a great atmosphere and I felt welcome from the first day.

The kids in my classes were also great. Most of them were very intelligent, sweet and social, and the parents were very supportive and great in their communication.

I recommend the German School with all my heart and I feel sad to have to leave it and my colleagues because of my move.
